Places...Guardian Building

I have always loved the Guardian building on Queen Street. Early Edwardian charm with that big Post office clock on the frontage, it is the grand old dame of lower Queen. And the apartment fit-outs are in keeping with the style, amazingly, for Auckland. Chris Lorimer (Fashion PR man)  and his partner live in what must be one of the best apartments there. It has a balcony! I love Chris's sense of living aesthetic. " For me, it;s always about the city, and it's always about downtown." So true.
